Emotional Therapy for Cancer Patients

1. If there is a person in your life (mother-in-law, ex-wife, i.e.) who is constantly in your face annoying you, by all means, they need to stay away from you while you are undergoing cancer treatment!  This is not to say you should feel that they are to blame for your condition, but ongoing stresses or annoyances in your life that never let up may very well contribute to a diseased state. Same goes for the neighbors' dog which barks all day & night, and you never seem to get a moment of peaceful rest in your bedroom.  In this case: DON'T attempt to carry out your cancer treatment under these conditions.  YOU NEED A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT!

2. If you have a deep-seated resentment against a family member or colleague which you have never expressed to them, NOW IS THE TIME TO LET IT OUT !! You might be amazed at the wonder it will do for you.  YOU CANNOT DEFEAT CANCER WHILE AT THE SAME TIME YOU ARE BOTTLING UP NEGATIVE EMOTIONS INSIDE YOU !! 1. Watch hilariously funny movies (over and over again if you like).

2. Visit with people who make you laugh, who remind you of the best times of your life, or whose positive energy you can sense.

3.  Listen to music that calms you. Clear your mind. Close your eyes & picture yourself floating in the melody.

4.  Practice visualization techniques by visualizing your immune system fighter cells physically attacking (stomping, blowing up, chomping, etc.) the cancer cells.  If you can master this practice, the effect can be miraculous.

5.  Get out in the fresh air and direct sunlight everyday if you can.  Even if it means being wheeled out in a wheelchair.  It is important to have at least 20 minutes of direct sunlight (morning or evening sun is best) on your face, palms, & forearms.  Do not wear sunglasses, and especially don't wear sunscreen, just commune with the sun and soak up its life force energy, let it's warmth envelope you, recharge you, and heal you.

6.  Keep your window open (at least slightly) if possible.  You need fresh air constantly in your body.  Stuffy rooms have less oxygen.  And never smoke or allow anyone to smoke around you while undergoing cancer treatment.

7.  Keep a notebook and your favorite pen or markers next to your bed.  Draw pictures.  Make lists of things you love about life.  Make lists of goals you plan to accomplish, make note of goals you've already accomplished also.  Give yourself a pat on the back where appropriate. Put dates you want to accomplish your goals by.  Include details, plans, drawings, dreams...  Make it obvious to the universe that you're NOT done here in your life!  You still have things you want to do - enjoy - accomplish -- you have services to offer the world.  YOU'RE NOT FINISHED!  Life is a beautiful gift -- don't ever forget that!  More than anything else I have told you, the most important thing you must do is -- be thankful..  We all have so much to be thankful for.  Your current state of health is a temporary condition.  It will teach you valuable lessons about yourself and life in general.  You will come out of this a stronger person.  And for that you should be thankful.

8.  Pray for healing to take place in your body.  Pray for strength for your loved ones and caretakers.  Pray for others who are sick.  Pray for the healing that IS taking place within you right now.  BE THANKFUL!!  DON'T BE SORRY.  BE THANKFUL!!  You're loved. You're special. You're strong. And you have a RIGHT TO BE HERE. Be thankful for that.
